Acadia National Park Beach
Acadia National Park, Maine attracts summer vacationers who like its rugged shoreline and cooler temperatures. It is famous as the best place to watch the sun rise in the nation. The park has two beaches staffed with lifeguards during the summer season. Sand Beach offers ocean swimming. Echo Lake Beach, on the west side of the island, offers a somewhat warmer swimming experience.
